Pamela I. Hughes, 72 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away with her best friend by her side, Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Services are pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Pamela was born October 30, 1950, in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Phillip and Norma (Olsen) Hughes. She grew up in Omaha, NE. and graduated from Central High School in Omaha, NE. and continued her education at USD in Vermillion, South Dakota where she graduated with a BS in Computer Science. She served in the Army and went on to work at Northwestern Bank which later became Wells Fargo as a programmer. Most recently she worked at First Data Resources in Omaha before moving back to Sioux City in 2010. She enjoyed rock collecting and playing World of Warcraft.

Pamela is survived by her longtime friends, Grace Linden and Gerri Hunter of Moville, IA, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Allan, Timothy, and James.
