Norman E. Cline, 74, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his residence. Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the First Unitarian Church , 2508 Jackson Street, Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Norman was born on November 9, 1943 in Sioux City, to Clarence and Viola (Woehl) Cline. He attended Sioux City Schools and received his GED while serving in the United States Navy. Norman married Patricia Peterson on May 9, 1964 in Long Beach California.

Norman worked for Wilson Trailer, John Morrell, and Floyd Valley Packing Company. Norman and Pat also worked for the city of Sioux City, working bid jobs. He was an avid reader, and also enjoyed gambling and fishing. Most importantly, Norman loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his mother, Viola Cline; wife, Pat Cline; daughter, Mindy Cline; brothers, Melvin (Dorothy) Cline, David (Lisa) Cline, Jim (Judy) Cline, Donald (Julie) Cline; sisters, JoAnn Henry and Janice (Dan) Purk; eight grandchildren, Melissa (Chad) Robinson and their children Destynee, Devin, Mark, and Alayna, Shaylee Cline and her children Alyssa, Paislee, and Lincoln, Brooke Cline, Dylan Cline, Sydney Gentry, Amara Cline, Madison Cline, and Mason Cline.

Norman was preceded in death by his father, Clarence; sons, Mark and Matthew Cline; and sister, Judy Durbin.
