Norma J. Brink, 85 of Bronson, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, May 17th at Community Presbyterian Church in Lawton, with Rev. Cynthia Ripperger and Chaplain Lorna Peters officiating. Burial will be at the Floyd Township Cemetery near Bronson. Visitation 4-8 pm Monday with the family present 6-8 pm and a Prayer Service at 7 pm, all at the church.

Norma was born on May 8, 1931 near Westfield, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Winnifred (Kroksh) Bliss. She graduated in 1949 from the Westfield Community High School.

On March 24, 1952, Norma was united in marriage to Darwin Brink at the Westfield Congregational Church in Westfield.

Norma will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her kind and caring ways, always ready to help out or lend a hand. She was an active member in her church and enjoyed Bible Study, and making pies for the church food stand at the fair. She couldn’t wait until spring to plant her garden and tend her flower bed. Later in life, her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Norma is survived by her husband Darwin; 4 children, Debra (Dennis) Baldwin of Merrill, Iowa, Diane (Richard) Keith of Preston, Minnesota, Dawn Kinney of Bronson and David (Rhonda) Brink of Bronson; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; her brother, John (Becky) Bliss of Tulia, Texas, her sister, Bernice Boetger of Akron; and her sister in-law, LaVerla Bliss of Amarillo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Robert Bliss; a sister-in-law Pat Bliss and a brother-in-law, Arden Boetger.
