Nancy Lynn Howes, 61, of Sioux City, IA, passed away March 19, 2025.  A graveside service will be held Friday, March 28, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Nancy was born March 4, 1964, in Sioux City, IA to Glen and Sharon (Mitchell) Shimitz.  She graduated from Central High School and was united in marriage to Lloyd Howes on January 6, 2008. Nancy worked as a custodian for Hardee’s and Wendy’s. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going on walks, grocery shopping, watching movies, listening to music, talking about her childhood, and eating lots of yummy foods. She also enjoyed reading her bible and had a strong faith in God. Nancy was a loving mother and wife. She always had a smile on her face and lots of love to share.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Lloyd Howes; mother, Sharon Shimitz; daughter, Tiffany McCarn; grandson, Nathan McCarn, and a granddaughter, Eleanor McCarn

She is preceded in death by her father.
