Nancy L. Altimus, 70, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, July 24 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 29 at Logan Park Cemetery, with Rev. Roger Madden officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the graveside and be held at the Lake Forest Banquet Room, 3700 – 28th Street, Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service.

Nancy was born November 3, 1942 in Sioux City, the daughter of Freeman and Beth Cobb. Nancy married Jarold Anderson, to this union, four children were born. In 1993, Nancy married Elroy Altimus.

Survivors include her husband Elroy, sons Brett Anderson, and Jerry (Melissa) Anderson, daughters Debra (Daren) White, Cindy Duerksen, and Brenda Altimus all of Sioux City, brothers Don (Barb) Cobb, Jim (Carol) Cobb, Dick (Jackie) Cobb all of Sioux City and Larry Cobb of Glenwood, Iowa, sisters Patti (Neil) Cleveland, Bev (Larry) Hanson and Penny (LeRoy) Hedemark, grandchildren Nikki, Samantha, David, Crystal, Andrea, Sara, Andrew, Katie, Jordan, Nick and Shannon, and great grandchildren Kayln and Cooper.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Connie McMullen, Barb Dokken, Carol Hartnett, Betty Jensen and Judy Keleher.
