Myron Benjamin "Charlie" Bokemper, 80, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at a local hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, June 4, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Andrew Galles officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery following services. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00, with family present from 6:00 to 8:00, and a vigil service at 7:00 pm on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Waterbury Funeral Services of Sioux City.

Charlie was born on August 24, 1937 in Wakefield, Nebraska to Benjamin and Viney (Strivens) Bokemper. On January 31, 1959, he was united in marriage to Sandra Flammang, and to this union five children were born.

Charlie worked for several farmers in Nebraska before moving to Sioux City to become a mechanic. He retired from the United Parcel Service in 1994.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra; daughters, Robin (DeWayne) Fuller and Carol (Scott) Fuller; sons, Myron (Sue) Bokemper and Randy (Teresa) Bokemper; daughter-in-law, Wendy Bokemper; sisters, Bonnie, Joanne, Delores, Maxine, Shirley; sister-in-law, Dianne; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark; four sisters; and three brothers.
