Mike Morey, 48, of Sioux City, IA passed away May 1, 2026 at a local hospital. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Mike was born on October 24, 1977 in Sioux City to Herbert and Maryann (Clinkenbeard) Morey Jr. He loved to hunt, fish, and collect rocks down by the river. Mike would also go to the woods and hunt for mushrooms with his dog Betsy. He was a handyman who liked working on cars and taking care of the house.

Those left to honor his memory include his mom, Maryann Morey; brother, Paul Morey; sister, Lynn Honsbruch; nieces: Eden and Brianna; and nephew, Jacob.

He is preceded in death by his dad and grandmother.
