Michaelyn M Abraham, age 61, of Sioux City died Wednesday at a local care facility.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday February 14, 2011 at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 3:00 pm at Congregational cemetery in Santee, Nebraska.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5-8pm at Waterbury Funeral Service.
Michaelyn was born in Winnebago, Nebraska on November 22, 1949. She attended and graduated from Sioux City community schools. Following her high school education, she enrolled in beauty school in Lincoln, Nebraska. She then returned to Sioux City where she did hair styling, as well as working for Russell Stover Candies, as well as Goodwill Industries.
She was an enrolled member of the Santee Nation. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and was a huge fan of Elvis.
She is survived by her mother Antoinette Abraham of Sioux City, her companion Heath Burns of Sioux City, one son Corderro Simpson of Sioux City, three brothers: Michael (Kim) Henshaw, Kim(Jane) Henshaw, and Kent(Sherry) Henshaw, along with many other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father Ray Henshaw.
