Mike W. Faber of Dakota City, NE, loving husband and father of three daughters, passed away, Monday, November 11, 2019 at the age of 55.

A prayer service will be held on Thursday, Nov 14th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Homer, NE at 5:00PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Great Dane Golf Course in Dakota City, NE on Friday, Nov. 15th from 3PM - 7PM. The family asks that everyone attending the Celebration of Life bring a favorite memory and wear either Nebraska, Vikings, or Cubs gear in honor of Mike’s favorite teams.  Arrangements by Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Mike was born on November 11th, 1964 in Sioux City, IA to Sandra Kay Watkins and Earl Michael Faber, Jr.Mike was a larger than life type of guy. He enjoyed hunting, working on his trucks, and hanging out with his friends and family.

Mike was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Earl Faber, Sr., Grandma, Esther Nailor, Father, Earl Faber, Jr., and his Mother, Sandy Watkins. He is survived by his wife, Michelle, their 3 Daughters; Cassidy Sanders, Brittney Faber, and Amber Smith, his 8 Grandchildren, Sister, Julie Maxwell and Nieces, along with several cousins and extended family.

The family requests that no flowers be sent. Please make a donation to your favorite charity in honor of Mike. Pre-addressed envelopes will be provided at the funeral services to some of Mike’s favorite causes.
