Michael David "Mikey" Niebaum, 54, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on September 24, 2025.

Born on March 29, 1971, Michael was the son of Carolyn Leah DeHaan-Hunt and the beloved brother of Kristi, Bonnie, Jennifer, and Shelly. He was the proud father of Sapphire, Faith, Devin, and Autumn and the grandfather of three beautiful boys who brought him endless joy. He was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Michael was married to Misty at the time of his passing and had previously shared many years of marriage with Marchael.
Throughout his life, Michael held a variety of jobs, including groundskeeper work and delivery services such as DoorDash and Instacart. He was known for living life at a fast pace and for his sense of humor, always making others laugh with his funny ways. Michael loved old trucks, TikTok, and connecting with people on social media. He had many friends-some lifelong, others who came and went-but each left their mark on his story.

Michael loved his children in his own way and will be remembered for the good parts of him that his family and friends cherished the most. Though he faced struggles with mental health throughout his life, Michael's spirit, laughter, and unique personality will always be remembered with love.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
