Michael McAllister, 55 of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 at his home.

Service will be held 1:00pm Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff, 400 4th Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Michael was born August 7, 1960 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Harold McAllister and Louise Raml. He attended South Sioux City, Nebraska Schools. Michael and Tina (Spencer) married January 3,1984 for the first time. They had 3 girls from this union. They had separated for awhile and got back together in 1992. Michael also had two other children Shawn and Jody Anderson. He was self employed as a construction worker.

He loved being around his grandchildren and enjoyed getting a rise out of his ex wife Tina, all in fun.

Michael is survived by his Ex-wife Tina Spencer, one son Shawn Anderson, four daughters; Jody Anderson of Sioux City, Lissa Averlo, of Sioux City, Mitsy McAllister of Yankton, South Dakota, Crystal McAllister of Sioux City, two brothers Jimmy McAllister of Sioux City, Scott McAllister of Council Bluff, and 19 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Debbie Davis.
