Michael L. Fredrickson, 47 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Saturday, October 7th at a local hospital. Services will be held 11:00am Monday, October 16, 2023, at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Michael (Mike, Buddha) Fredrickson was born January 28, 1976, in Omaha NE., the son of Gayle and Barbara (Lewis) Fredrickson. In early years Mike worked in the food industry before working several years at the Sioux City Foundry.  Mike spent the majority of his years working and managing a crew for Hollands Lawn care.

He loved fishing, riding motorcycles, and the San Francisco 49ers.  Mike loved to laugh and joke around. He had a boisterous spirit he shared with everyone. He had an undying love for his kids, family, and friends.

Mike is survived by his children Paige, Dillon, Karley, and Addison Fredrickson, grandchildren Jayden and Kameron, mother and stepfather Barbara and Daryle Blackwell, step- mother Donna Fredrickson, a brother, Shane Fredrickson, two sisters, Brenda Fredrickson-Murphy, and Sabrina Jo Blackwell, stepsiblings Jenny, Jodi and Daniel Blackwell. many nieces and nephews: Christopher, Teagan, Autumn, Josiah, Amelia, Zachary, LanDen, DayLen, HayDen, HazLeigh.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Gayle Fredrickson and sisters Annagail Fetterman and Patricia Fredrickson.
