Michael A. Brands, 49, of Sioux City, IA, passed away June 11, 2024 at a hospital in Omaha, NE surrounded by family and friends.  A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 23 at 2:00 p.m. at The Marquee.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Michael was born on January 24, 1975 in Sheldon, IA to Kristin (Kris) Ladean.  He worked at Schuster Trucking and was currently working there.  He was with the love of his life, Brenda Corso, for over 15 years.  Michael believed in animal adoption and loved animals, especially his dog, Nattie.  He enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and music, especially AC/DC.

Those left to honor his memory include his spouse, Brenda Corso; sister, Michelle Groeneweg (Brian); and brothers, Shannon Minton, Tom Cother (Cammy Jo), Bob Fleshman, and Eugene Johnson (Barb); nieces and nephews; and father, Garry Minton.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Kris.
