Michael “Mikey-Mo” Alan Alexander was called home on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 surrounded by family and love.  A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, February 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Mike born on November 27, 1962 in Chamberlain, South Dakota, to Harold and Lillian Alexander. Mike and his family moved to Sioux City in 1970. Mike was the youngest of 6 siblings and graduated from North High School in Sioux City, Iowa.

Mike was a cook for many years at various restaurants in Sioux City. Mike was an avid reader, darts player, and champion at all trivia games. Mike enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was the kindest person you would ever cross paths with. Mike also possessed a humor that would make every person around smile and laugh. Mike will be truly missed, but his family will always cherish their memories and love for him.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Lillian Alexander, his brother in law John Smith, and his niece Elizabeth “Lizzie”  Treiber. He is survived by his sister’s Susan (Craig) Chamberlain, Carol (Dennis) Sexton, Mary Smith, Jan (Chris Treiber) Alexander, his brother David (Lori) Alexander, and many nieces and nephews.
