Matthew Mark Burdorf, 31, of Sioux City, Iowa died Thursday, May 29, 2017 at his home. Funeral Services will be Noon Friday, June 9, 2017 at Waterbury Funeral Services of Sioux City. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Matt was born December 17, 1985 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Lillian Gruneich. He grew up in Sioux City, graduating from East High School. Matt continued his education at Western Iowa Technical Community College in the mechanical and automotive field. He married Heather DeZeeuw March 25, 2006. Together they made their home in Sioux City.

Matt worked at Billion Auto. He loved spending time with his family and working on all kinds of cars.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Burdorf of Sioux City; 2 children, Hailey and Shawn Burdorf; mother, Lillian Burdorf of Sioux City; sister, Jessica Burdorf of Sioux City; and parent-in-laws, Kathy and Preston DeZeeuw of Tomah, Wisconsin.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and an infant sister, Justine.
