Mateo Ray Schoenherr, infant son of Dale and Jaqueline Schoenherr, passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on April 1, 2024. He was born at 10:03 a.m. and met the eyes of Jesus at 11:35 a.m. the same day. During his short time here on Earth he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends.  A private family service will be held at Logan Park Cemetery.

Those left to honor his memory include his parents, Dale and Jaqueline Schoenherr; grandparents: Grace and Dennis Hamm and Dorene and Harold Schoenherr; great-grandmother, Wanda Hamm; aunts and uncles: Roger, Jen, Mark and Ruth Schoenherr, Daniel Delgadillo, Justin Hamm and Jennifer Smith; and many more cousins: Bella, Dalen, Dash, Melody and many more.

He is greeted in Heaven by his uncle, Martin Schoenherr and his great-grandparents: Victor and Tomasa DeLaPaz, and Clayton Hamm.

I Heard Your Voice In The Wind Today

I heard your voice in the wind today and I turned to see your face; The warmth of the wind caressed me as I stood silently in place. I felt your touch in the sun today as its warmth filled the sky; I closed my eyes for your embrace and my spirit soared high. I saw your eyes in the window panes.  I watched the falling rain; it seemed as each raindrop fell it quietly said your name. I held you close in my heart today it made me feel complete; You may have died… but you are not gone you will always be a part of me. As long as the sun shines… the wind blows… the rain falls… You will live on inside of me forever for that is all my heart knows.
