Mary K. Habben "Crazy Mary", 66 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at her home. Services will be held 7pm Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be from 5pm until service time at the funeral home.
Mary Kay Habben, "Crazy Mary", was born January 29, 1955 in Sioux City, IA the daughter of Donald and Dorothy (Corkery) Lundgren. She was one of six children; Wayne, Mark, Tom, Brian and sister, Rita. Mary loved to stay with her grandma Corkery and ride her pony on Military Road, when she was a young girl.
She was known for over 30 years as one of the best bartenders in Siouxland and had a very loyal base of customers that followed her wherever she worked. Mary was loved and respected by many. She was also known for her cooking and baking skills. Made the best pie crust in town, and her breakfast meals were to die for. Mary fought a hard battle towards the end, she never gave up. Mary fought with every breath that God had giving her. She was truly one of a kind.
Mary is survived by her children; Bobby Jo, Toni, Buddy, Jackie, and Alexandra, and her companion of 25 years, Jim Morgan “Mr. Wonderful”.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Rita, and nephew Curt.
