Mary J. Goul, 60 of Sioux City, formally of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at a local hospital. Memorial Service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the First Christian Church, 2500 University Ave, Des Moines Iowa, with Rev. Fred Gee officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

Mary Jean Goul was born July 17, 1958 in Des Moines, IA the daughter of Jay and Una (Breen) Goul. She grew up in Des Moines. Mary graduated from Hoover High School, and then continuing her education at Grandview College earning her Associates degree in Liberal Arts. She was the oldest of three siblings, Sara (Alfred) Edwards of Des Moines, IA., and Laura (John) Baumann of Leland, IA, Iowa. Mary moved to Sioux City, and lived there for a couple of years. She loved music, and was a member of the First Christian Church in Des Moines, Iowa.
