Mary Ann Clarke, 73, of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Sunnybrook Community Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Mary Ann was born on May 26, 1942 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of David and Ella Mae (Stutzman) Loraditch. She attended Central High School in Sioux City and received her GED in 1980. Mary Ann married William Thomas Clarke in 1965 in Sioux City, he passed away on October 19, 1976.
Throughout her life, Mary Ann was proud of the where she worked; she was a Home hemodialysis speicalist, worked in supply processing and distributing at St. Luke's, head of security at Tyson/IBP, and the regional manager for DSI Security Inc.
Mary Ann enjoyed going out to eat and loved cooking huge holiday and birthday feasts for her family. She also enjoyed her kitties, and watching the outdoor critters and birds. Mary Ann was an active member of the Sunnybrook Community Church, even when she became ill, she was still involved in the prayer team.
Survivors include her boys: Michael Clarke of Sioux City and David (Becky) Clarke of Storm Lake, Iowa, siblings: Charlene, Fayth, Delores, and Harry, and grandchildren: Laurel "Wheezy", Christian, and Emily.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother David, grandson William and daughter-in-law Karla.
