Marsha Lynn Hough, 59 of Sergeant Bluff, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center with her family by her side.
Marsha was born on June 5, 1954 in Sioux City, the daughter of Roy and Francis (Burge) Camerer. She married Steven Jay Hough on October 19, 1974, and brought three beautiful boys into this union.
Marsha spent many years working at Great West Casualty and for the City of Sergeant Bluff, and most recently for Tyson Foods in Dakota Dunes. She greatly appreciated the friendships and support she received at Tyson.
Marsha was a very family orientated, spending all of her down time with Steve, the boys and their families. She enjoyed boating, movies and Mickey Mouse. Marsha touched many lives. There are some who will remember her fondly as “Momma Hough”. She had a knack for putting others at ease and showing she cared.
Marsha is survived by her husband, Steve; her sons Ryan (Sarah) Hough of Vermillion, South Dakota and Adam (Stacia) Hough of Sergeant Bluff; her grandchildren, Morgan, Allison, Miles; her brothers, Leo (JoAnn) Camerer of Sioux City and Tim (Ruth) Camerer of San Antonio, Texas; her brother in-law Alan (Christine) Hough; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and just recently, her son Shawn.
