Marlys J. Mann, 74 of Sioux City passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at her residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 Saturday, June 22, 2024, at River Hills Church 1101 5th Ave, South Sioux City, Nebraska.

Marlys was born on July 28, 1949, in Sioux City, the daughter of Loren and Pearl (Strong) Mann. Marlys had attended Central High School. She dedicated her life to raising her children and making a house a home.

She loved to do crafts, sewing and baking, but most of all, spending time with her family. If you knew Marlys, it wouldn't take long to figure out her favorite color was PINK.

Marlys is survived by her daughter, Malena Mann, her son, Steve (Brigitte) Mann; 5 grandchildren, Joshua (Kelsey) Kessel, Jordan (Kourtney) Kessel Jonah (Ziara) Kessel, Connor (Megan) Mann and Chase Mann; 4 great-grandsons, Hudson, Harlan, Jerrell and Gio; her sisters, Donna Cole, Sharon Heiner, Lorna Waddell, Lynette Cook and Marlene Laviola.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loren and Pearl Mann, brothers, Dallas Mann, Steve Mann and a sister Sheryl Crippen.
