Marlene F. Thomasson, 79 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at a local hospital. Services will be held 11:00am Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:30 am until service time at the funeral home.

Marlene Thomasson (79) was born January 3, 1942, in Oto, Iowa.

She is survived by brothers Marvin Meier of Pleasanton, CA; Everett (Sue) Meier of Le Mars, IA; and sisters Lois Knoell of Omaha, NE; Shirley Persinger of Sioux City, IA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marlene is proceeded in death by her parents, Arthur and Marie (Swesey) Meier, sisters, Genevieve Knight, Helen Meier, Mary Jane Rude, brothers, Robert Meier, and Alvin Meier.
