Mark J. Trucke, 56 of Mapleton, Iowa, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Unity Point St. Luke’s hospital surrounded by his family. Memorial Services will be held 11:00am Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Jordan Valley Bible Church, 23654 Plum Avenue, Castana, IA, with Choya Bielenberg and Robert Wessling officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Mark John Trucke was born May 15, 1962 in Battle Creek, IA the son of Edwin and Marian (Weiling) Trucke. He grew up in Danbury where he attended school at Maple Valley. Mark lived in Mapleton and Danbury all his life. Over the years he farmed, was a logger and worked on everything, helping anyone at anytime. He was the go to guy if you needed anything.

He loved spending time with his sons and grandchildren, camping, four wheeling, and teaching them mechanics.

Mark is survived by his mother Marian Trucke, three sons; Ethan (Miranda) Trucke, Stormy Trucke and Jerico Trucke; four grandchildren, Logan, Ryder, Malakia and Ivory; five brothers, Gary Trucke, Greg (Karen) Trucke, Paul (Patti) Trucke, Ed (Beth) Trucke and Doug (Amy) Trucke, six sisters; Diane (Dennis) Palm, Deb (Rex) Morgan, Cindy (Russ) Melby, Tammy (Randy) Mohr, Renee (Jeff) Krafton and Jan (Terry) Schrank; many nieces, nephews, other relives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Edwin Trucke.
