Mark Stephen Meylor, 64, of Sioux City, ascended into heaven on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his home surrounded by loved ones, following a long battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. A visitation will be held from 4-8 with family present from 6-8 on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

Mark was born August 4, 1953, the son of Dr. Donald Meylor of Le Mars, IA and Ruth Cates of Cherokee, IA. At a young age, Mark enlisted into the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War to serve his country.

On August 4, 1984, Mark married his lifelong best friend, Rhonda Meylor. He worked at Gateway for fifteen years and was a computer guru for multiple companies in the area. He enjoyed camping, four wheeling, boating, tinkering; he was a "jack of all trades.," so to speak. He truly loved spending time in his garage with family and friends, better known as "Meylor Time."

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda, of Sioux City; sons, Aaron (Patrice) Johnson of Omaha, Brent (Michelle) Johnson, and Kyle Meylor; daughter, April (Jeff) Sturges, all of Sioux City; and eighteen grandchildren.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Mason Reed.
