Mark Douglas Kowalke, 73, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Mark was born on November 29, 1950 in Sioux City, Iowa to Arnold and Lavonne (Seglem) Kowalke.  He enjoyed carpentry and spending time at the Casino.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters, Carrie Gross; Shana Sanchez; Dawn (Jamison) Painter, three grandchildren; Emily (Blake) Casey, Hunter (Star) Gross, Alyssa Kowalke, sister, Leanne (Frank) Wingert, brother, Denny (Barb) Kowalke, two great granddaughters, Lylliana Mc Kie and Baby Casey.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
