Mark A. Dawdy, 60 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at a local hospital. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Family would encourage you to wear Iowa Hawkeye attire.

Mark was born on June 30, 1961 in  Sioux City, Iowa, the son of James and Leola (Houle) Dawdy

Mark loved to spend time with the family having grill outs, being around his nieces and nephews(and great nieces and nephews), going to Hard Rock Casino with Ashley and cruising around in his jeep. He was an avid sports fanatic, with his favorite team being the Iowa Hawkeyes. Mark spent many years as a surveyor for Veenstra & Kimm.

Mark is survived by his son, Mark (Ashley) Hamilton; daughter Ashley Dawdy (Malcolm Moon); brothers, Patrick and Michael Dawdy; sisters, Donna Stabile, Pamela (Wayne) Prestage and Debbie Dawdy; many nieces and nephews; ex wife Kelly Dawdy; and special friend, Tawnya O’Neill.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Gene, Matthew and Sonny Dawdy.
