Mark Lee Cotè, 65, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at his residence. Services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, February 27, 2015 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. A visitation will be held 4-8 with family present from 6-8 on Thursday, February 26, at the funeral home.

Mark was born on January 17, 1950 in Sioux City, the son of Alcid and Joan (Studley) Cotè. He married Jeanette Pahl on January 30, 1971 in Sioux City. Mark had a range of jobs throughout his life, he was an auto body painter, nurse's aide at various of nursing homes, Gateway, and Railcrew Express, where he retired due to illness. Mark loved hunting, fishing, working on cars, NASCAR, and he was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Survivors include his mother Joan Cotè, wife Jeanette, children Nicholas Cotè, Melissa (Bob) Cotè-Merrill, and Amy (Scot) Cotè-Elwell, 8 grandchildren: Ashley, Mark Jr., Nick Jr., Jessica, Caleb, Cheyenne, Gabriel, and Nicole Cotè, one great-granddaughter Zakia Cotè, all of Sioux City, siblings: Linda and Michael Tritz, Susie and Sebastian Pahl, Steve and Jonie Cotè, Christine and David Pinney, Paul Cotè, Lisa Cotè, and Barbie Marcotte, and many nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Alcid Cotè and his grandparents Dorothy and Ed Studley.
