Mark E. Bahmer, 66 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away peacefully Monday, March 27, 2023, at his home with his daughter by his side. Services will be held at 6:00pm Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation and food will be available from 4:00-6:00pm at the funeral home.

Mark was born March 25, 1957, in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Lester and Donna (Jenkins) Bahmer. He graduated from West High School in 1975.  Mark continued his education at WITC receiving his associate degree in carpentry. He was employed by the Sioux City public Schools as a Boiler Mechanic. He drove truck for the Sioux City Journal, delivering papers to surrounding towns.  Later Mark delivered oxygen and home medical supplies for AirGas and Lincare.

He enjoyed going hunting, fishing, and of course riding his Harley. Mark was member of the Eagles club and loved to go dancing on a weekly basis. He was a family man and enjoyed going to Bob's in Martinsburg. Mark was a caring and proud man. He enjoyed taking care of people; he was a great handyman, father, grandfather and beloved friend to many.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Brenda Davis, sister, Theresa Biggerstaff, three grandchildren, Dalton Rederick, Jaxsen VanRoekel, Kayden VanRoekel, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
