Marian Etta Larimer, 82, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by her family on January 7, 2025.  A celebration of her life is pending.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Marian was born on April 09, 1942 in Cherokee County, IA to Fred and Vivian (Cripe) Sievert.  Marian enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and going out to eat.  Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and Walkers in Salix were some of her favorites.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, David “Dave” Larimer (Stacy Oldenburg-Coenen); daughter, Kathryn “Kathy” Noble; brother, Wayne Sievert; grandchildren: William “Will” Larimer and Samuel “Sam” Larimer, Michael “Mike” (Courtney) Noble, Jeffrey “Jeff” (Abby Feenstra) Noble, Rebecca Noble, and Braden Coenen. Great-grandchildren: Harper, Atticus, Huckleberry, and Ruth; and extended family and friends

She is preceded in death by her parents; seven siblings; and a son-in-law, James “Jim” Noble.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of Siouxland and St. Croix Hospice for all of the wonderful care given to Marian.
