Margene Ann Roark

Margene Ann Roark, 73, of Sioux City, IA, passed away December 11, 2025 in Sioux City, IA. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Margene was born on September 17, 1952, in Cromer, England to Silas and Donna (Earle) Hagler. She graduated from Sioux City East High School in 1971. Margene retired from JC Penney in 2017. She enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid fan of horses and horse racing.

Margene is survived by her daughter, Jill Serbousek (Scott) of Fenton, MO; son, Michael Paul Roark of Kingsley, IA; granddaughter, Hailey (Brandon) Klave of Omaha, NE; grandson, Douglas Neubaum; and granddaughter, Aryana Roark of Sioux City, IA. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Custer of Sioux City, IA; sister, Lorry Deming (Todd) of Coeur d'Alene, ID; brother, Chris Jessen (Melissa) of Coeur d'Alene, ID; niece, Sita Fitzhenry (Sean) of Grass Valley, CA; and niece Chase Jessen of Coeur d'Alene, ID.

Margene was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother David, nephew Jeromy Angerman and great-granddaughter Thea Klave.
