Margaret L. “Peg” Tomlinson, 81 of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at her home. Funeral Services will be held 12:00pm Monday, August 19, 2024, at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. Lunch to follow after burial at the funeral home.

Peg was born May 20, 1943, in Jackson, Nebraska the daughter of Michael and Margaret (Sweisberger) Boyle. On January 14, 1961, Peg married Marrill Tomlinson. She worked at Everett School, Aalfs Manufacturing, Zeith, Donelly Marketing, and for the last 25 years Peg worked at Interbake Foods.

She enjoyed going to flea markets, collected tea pots, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Peg is survived by her children, Bob (Terri) Tomlinson of Sioux Falls, SD, Judith Nelson of Hinton, IA, David (Chris) Tomlinson of Hinton, IA, Pamela (Risty) Tomlinson of Sergeant Bluff, IA, 10 grandchildren; Kayla (Jordan) Jurgensen of Merrill, IA, Ashlei (Ean) Hanks of Hornick, IA, Tiffany Tomlinson,  of South Sioux City, NE, DJ Tomlinson of Sioux City, IA, Samantha (Jesse) Christensen of Merrill, IA, Anthony Tomlinson (Riley) of Le Mars, IA, Jacob Tomlinson (Nichole) of South Sioux City, NE, Dale (Rosie) Timmerman of Perry Grove, AR, Austin (Kaylene) Nelson of Le Mars, IA, Shannon (Jack) Carlson of Sioux City, IA, 21 great grandchildren; Cody (Jade), Ethan, Brianna, Mercedes, Izabelle, Jayden, Brooklynn, Trinity, Aliviah, Alyssa, Camden, Karson, Elliot, Carter, Marquis, Jaycee, Mialee, Maxton, Sabastian, Zekale, Catalyenna, three siblings, Bernadine Mericial of Jackson, NE, Mick (Sheryl) Boyle of Jackson, NE, Pat Tomlinson of Ida Grove, IA,  and two sisters-in law, Joann Tomlinson of Moville, IA, Lana (John) Boyle of Lawton, IA.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mike and Margaret Boyle, husband, Marrill, grandson, Dustin Nelson, brothers-in-law, Richard, Harold, Max, and Clifford Tomlinson, parents-in-law, Clifford (Elva) Tomlinson, and a nephew, Jerry Tomlinson.
