Margaret Ann Schager, 88, of Bloomfield, NE, formerly of Sioux City, IA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on May 13, 2025 at Good Samaritan in Bloomfield.  Per her request, Margaret will be cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Margaret was born on June 27, 1936 in Correctionville, IA, to John and Bessie (Frost) Moos. She graduated from Bronson High School in 1955. Margaret married her high school sweetheart, Dale Schager, on June 28, 1957 in Bronson. She was a wonderful mom and homemaker and later after her children grew up, she worked at several places in the area.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: twins, Diana Hanna and Darla (Pat) McGrath, Dennis Schager, Dewey (Linda) Schager, Bob Schager, Candace (Tony) Carey, Desiree Schager, and Matt (Alison) Hanna; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and brothers: Dan (Marcella) Moos and Tom Moos.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; three grandchildren; and one great grandson; siblings: Virginia Carnes, John, Jim, Chuck, and Ted Moos.
