Margaret "Joann" Mack, 87, of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, May 15 , 2018. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Joann was born on November 5 , 1930 in Ponca, Nebraska to William and Margaret (Gormley) Russell. Joann married Donald Mack in 1950. She worked as a dispatcher for the Colorado State Highway Patrol for 30 years. Joann loved doing volunteer work, especially at the Soup Kitchen.

Survivors include her children, Connie (Bob) Blackburn, Donald Patrick Mack, Robert Michael Mack, Teresa Smith, Dawn Murray, and Russ Mack; sister, Donna Johnson; and many grand children and great grandchildren.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1999; and brothers, Bill and Bob.
