Marcella Rose Snyder, 82 of Sioux City, died Friday, July 14, 2017 at her residence.

Memorial Services will be held 10 am Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Glendale Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Marcella was born on November 6, 1934 in Decatur, Nebraska, the daughter of Walter and Viola (Young) Griffin. On June 1, 1951 Marcella was united in marriage to Raymond Snyder.

Marcella worked over the years as a bartender at several area businesses. Marcella will be missed by all her family and friends. Her family always came first. She also loved the little white church in the valley called Glendale Baptist church, where she was a member for over 70 years.

Marcella is survived by her sons, Ricky (Gayla) Snyder, Terry (Chris) Snyder, Larry (and his partner Barb) and Tommy (Dani) Snyder; her daughters Rhonda (John) Hariluk and Bessie Schlink; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brothers Earl (Naima) Griffin, James (Bibbi) Griffin and Marion Griffin; her sister, Linda Luhman, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond (in 2009), a daughter Susan Walters and grand-daughter, Jessica Lee Snyder.
