Lynne Barner, 67 of Sloan, died Tuesday, June 26 , 2018 at a Sioux City hospital.

Memorial Services will be held 1 pm Monday, July 2 ^nd at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue. Visitation with the family one hour prior to service time.

Lynne graduated from East High School in the late 1960’s. She was united in marriage to Andrew Barner in April of 1990.

Lynne owned and operated Lynne’s Barber Shop in Sloan for over 25 years, retiring in 2015. Lynne was on a Sioux City bowling league for many years. She enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas and area casinos over the years. Lynne enjoyed humor, and enjoyed telling jokes.

Lynne is survived by her husband Andrew, her son Brandon and his wife Jennifer Ballantyne and their daughter Alexus, step-daughters Jana (Robert) Nash and Jenny (Brett Austin) Barner, her brother Terry (Mary) Ballantyne all of Sioux City, sisters Donice (Mark) Susemihl of Merrill, Iowa and Doris (Dave) McLaughlin of Las Vegas, and her step-mother Bernice Ballantyne of Le Mars.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
