Lynn Marie Osborn

God welcomed Lynn home on January 21, 2017. Lynn was born in Sioux City, IA on January 9, 1957 to Robert and Mary Walker.

Lynn attended Crescent Park Elementary, West Junior and graduated from West High in 1975. Lynn welcomed her first child, a daughter, Melinda Rae in September of 1977.

Lynn worked for many years at "The Sandbar and Galley" where she met her husband, Mark Osborn. Lynn and Mark exchanged marriage vows in July of 1983. In August of 1983, they welcomed, a daughter, Mary Louise. One year later, they welcomed a son, Justin Allen in August 1984. And in September of 1984, the Osborn Family became complete, when Mark adopted Lynn's eldest daughter, Melinda Rae as his own daughter.

Many of Lynn's friends describe her as "their rock", she was strong and always had a shoulder to for them to lean on. She will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and smile that could light a room. Lynn, Mark, and their children enjoyed many adventures together; camping, horseback riding, gardening, spending many summer days in the pool, and coaching their kids in soccer. Lynn enjoyed spending time with her 5 grandchildren, who each owned a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Mark Osborn, 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Melinda and Erik Clark (daughter Luci Clark) of Arkansas, Mary Osborn (son Noah Goodshield) of Arkansas, and Justin (sons Justin Jr, Brett, and Braeden of Arizona) and wife Kayln Osborn of Colorado. A niece, Nicole and Brandon majors (3 children) of Virginia, a mother in law Karlyn Osborn of Sioux City, a brother in law Todd Osborn of Sioux Falls and his 3 sons. Two sisters Cindy Walker (Terry) of Sioux City, Lynette of Georgia, and father and step mother Robert and Yolanda Walker of Georgia. She is also survived by her best friend from childhood Kathy White of South Dakota and numerous cousins.

She was welcomed home with open arms by our Heavenly Father, her grandmother Margaret , mom Mary, younger sister Pam (who she is probably up there causing trouble with right now), baby brother Scott Robert and father in law Ozzie. We love you mom and miss you so much! Rest enjoy and relax in Heavens arms momma!
