Louise Preston, 86 of South Sioux City, passed away January 2, 2024, at a local hospital.  Memorial Services will be held Thursday, January 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.

Louise Preston was born on July 13, 1937, in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of William and Mabel (Fink) Epperson. Louise was united in marriage to Charles Preston on June 13, 1959.  She enjoyed reading, knitting, playing bingo and participating in activities at Regency Square.

Those left to honor her memory include her 3 sons: Rodney Preston of Imperial Beach, California, David Preston and Paul Preston, both of Sioux City; 1 daughter, Lora Lee; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles; daughter Lydia; and siblings: Lydia, Charlie, Jimmy and Leona.
