Lorne Lee Fatland, 52, of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at a local hospital. Wake services will begin 11:00am Thursday, December 31, 2020 and run until 1:00pm Sunday, January 3, 2021 at First Unitarian Church in Sioux City. Burial will be in Omaha Tribal Cemetery, Macy, Ne. Because of Covid 19, please wear a mask. Waterbury Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lorne was born July 1, 1968 in Winnebago, Nebraska the son of Ronald and Patricia (Grant) Fatland. He grew up in Sioux City. Lorne moved to Sisseton, SD. for fifteen years before returning to Sioux City in 2016. Over the years he worked at Healing Spirit, The Magic Casino, at a Nursing Home and was a truck Driver. He was kind, generous and lovable person who would give the shirt off his back. Those that knew him loved him. He will be missed by many.

Lorne is survived by his children, Naomi Alcantar, Shantele Fatland, Lorne Fatland Jr., Shantel Horn, Autumn Stead, Aaron Hensen, Annalise Hensen, Malena Uppman, Robin Fatland, Lauren Fatland and Lorne Fatland (LJ) III; siblings, Dan Eittreim, Linda Cantu, Rhonda Fatland, Ulysses Fatland and Cosey Coleson, and 19 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, David Eittreim and Paul Bader.
