Lori A. Gabriel, 62, passed away after a short battle with cancer.  A celebration of life will be held at a later time. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Lori was born in San Diego, California, on November 26,1960, she lived in Sioux City most of her life. She loved to play base guitar and was in a few bands with friends. Lori also loved horses, playing games on her gaming station, and her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons: Shaun Smith and Alisha Steeg, Richard Gunn and partner Brittany, Dustin and Jeni Smith, father, Keith Smith, brothers, Myron and Susan Smith, Larry Smith, Lonnie and Cheryl Smith, sister: Connie and Mark Bauer, and 13 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lori was preceded in death by mother, Rosemary Smith, brother: Jody Smith, maternal grandmother: Mary Hayden, and paternal grandparents: Charles and Estella Smith.
