Lorenzo A. Jackson, 29 of Fargo, North Dakota formally of Sioux City, Iowa passed away at 5:20am Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from a long journey of dealing with sickle cell anemia. Services will be held 12:00pm Sunday, January 29, 2023, at the Waterbury Funeral Services of Sioux City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Lorenzo was born March 9, 1993, in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Erica Jackson and Jerrell Givans. He was the first-born child. Lorenzo loved rapping, music, dancing; singing, drawing, eating, and he loved pranks. Even through his pain he was always full of energy and life.
Son, we love you in so many ways, thank you for being my son on good and bad days. Thanks for allowing me to be your mother through good and bad times. I’m gonna miss your smile and laugh and corny little sayings. I’m gonna miss you period 4 Ever and always in my HEART!!
   
   Lorenzo will lovingly be remembered by his son, Josiah, mother, Erica, father, Jerrell, sister, Mosella, the mother of his child Kylee, grandparents, Karin and Anthony, grandmother, Loretta, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncle and great aunts and uncles, and friends. He will be sadly missed by a lot of his cousins they were all so close in different ways, they had their own special codes.
  
He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Earline R. Jackson and great grandfather, Charles W. Jackson.

   You were a fighter; you were stronger than any man I know to go through all.
   
   You went and got back up with your chest out and held high.
   
   We all will never forget you; you will always have a special place in my heart. In its own special way, so until we meet again, we will always praise your name in many ways and much more.
