Obituary
Lorena was born on October 23,1911 in Mapleton, Iowa the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Waderick) Fester. She was united in marriage with Wlmer Kragel and this union was blessed with five children.
The couple farmed in Missouri and later moved to Sioux City where they opened and operated Kragel’s Variety Store on the Westside of Sioux City from the 1960’s to the 1980’s.
She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, her son Larry, and her three daughters June Miller, Arlene Walker, and Shirley Kragel.
Left to cherish her memory include her son Ron and his wife Shirley Kragel of Alcester, South Dakota, 18 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Mapleton Ambulance Service.
