Lois Marie Sudtelgte, 85, of Sioux City, IA, passed away August 9, 2024 at a local hospital.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.

Lois was born on May 6, 1939 in Sioux City, IA to Edmund and Mary (Murray) Sudtelgte.  She graduated from Heelan High School in 1957 and worked at Toy National Bank, Northwest Bank, and Wells Fargo, before retiring in 2003.  Lois enjoyed spending time with her family and staying in touch with Facebook, text, and social media.  She liked to read, watch her soaps, the news, wheel of fortune, go on car rides, and eating cream and m&m's.  She loved kids and would spoil her nieces and nephews.  Lois was a longtime member of Mater Dei Parish-Church of the Nativity.

Those left to honor her memory include her brothers and sisters: Clyde Sudtelgte Leon (Sue) Sudtelgte, Mary Lee; brother-in-law, Geoff White; sister-in-law, Caryl Sudtelgte, nephews: Shawn Michael Lee (Kamie), and Todd Alan Lee (Sara); and numerous nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Richard, and sister, Marilyn White; sister in law Pat Sudtelgte and beloved uncle Eugene Murray.
