Logan Paul Higman, 6, of North Sioux City, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 9, 2017. A celebration of his life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.


Logan was born on July 12, 2011 in Sioux City, the son of Brenda Higman and Tyler Higman. At the age of two, Logan was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) and has had a very tough battle over the last four years. As an infant, he attended Storytime Day Care in North Sioux City. Before becoming ill, Logan loved doing the typical baby things, especially playing with his mom's pots and pans.


Survivors include his mother, Brenda Higman; father, Tyler Higman; sister, Rowen Higman; grandparents, John and Rebecca Haines and Joan and Dave Higman; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and family that will miss him very much.


Logan's family received an outpouring of love and support within the community and all over the country. Thank you to all! A special thank you to Hospice of Siouxland, Universal Pediatrics, and the wonderful staff at the Childrens Hospital of Omaha.
