Lisa K. Wright (Bates), 62, of Dakota City, Nebraska, was called home to be with our Lord on September 11, 2026. She passed peacefully in Jacksonville, Florida, surrounded by her loving family.

A viewing and funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Waterbury Funeral Services, 4125 Orleans Avenue. Lisa will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6605 Morningside Avenue, at noon.

Lisa graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1982. She went on to earn her nursing degree and dedicated many years to caring for others, working at several clinics and Shands Hospital. Her compassion and commitment to helping others touched countless lives.

Those left to cherish her memory include her stepmother, Judy Bates; her siblings, Tonya (Jose) Jimenez and Jason Bates; her beloved husband, Robert, with whom she shared more than 20 years of marriage; her children, Christina (Ryan) Harris, Sabrina Williams, Michael (Kendra) Johnson, Julia Wright, and Christopher Garten; along with her many cherished grandchildren. Lisa will be remembered by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her kindness, love, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on forever in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Bates and Helen Correia, along with her brothers, Ricky and Dan Bates.
