Lindsey Nicole Whitlock, 33, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City with Rev. Gene Stockton officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 9:00 am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Lindsey was born on November 25, 1986 in Sioux City, the daughter of Gary and Linda (Delk) Rubel. She graduated from East High School in 2005.  Lindsey married Daniel Whitlock on April 11, 2009 at Heartland Community Baptist Church and together they had three children.

Lindsey was very intelligent and highly educated. She has attended or received degrees from Morningside College, USD, Briar Cliff, and UNMC. Her latest accomplishment, her post masters degree, PMHNP-BC, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified. Lindsey enjoyed to learn and was always in search of continuing her education. Her real devotion was to her kids, she was proud to be a boy mom and she absolutely loved them

Survivors include her husband, Dan and their three boys, Dekeyn, Wyatt, and Henry "Howie"; parents, Gary and Linda Rubel; mother-in-law, Patricia Whitlock; sisters-in-law, Tiffany (Chad) Huss, Jenni (Jeff) Perera, and Britta Whitlock; Brother-in-law, David Whitlock; and Grandparents, Jung Walker and William Rubel.

Lindsey was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Delk; and father-in-law, Patrick Whitlock.
