Lindsay "Lindz" Lee Johnson

Lindsay Lee Johnson, 30, of North Sioux City, SD, passed away December 30, 2025. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Lindsay was born on February 15, 1995 in Sioux City, IA to Christopher and Susan (Foster) Johnson. She graduated from Elk Point Jefferson High School and went on to obtain her associates degree in Medical Transcription. While in high school, she excelled in volleyball, track, dance and softball. She had been with her partner, Joe Swenson since 2020, and together they had 2 wonderful sons, Xavier and Theo. Lindsay’s boys were her whole world and she loved them more than anything.

Those left to honor her memory include her partner, Joe Swenson; sons: Xavier and Theo; mother, Susan Johnson; siblings: Thomas J. Johnson, Rachel (Andy) Vogt, and Shannon Johnson; nephews and Niece: Chayce and Gunner Motange, and Shelby Johnson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Christopher and brother, Brandon Johnson.
