Linda Shirley Kleve, 71, of Dakota City, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, December 22, 2017 at Dakota City United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Dakota City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Linda was born on October 4, 1946 in Sioux City to Robert and Neva (Butler) Neal. She attended Dakota City and South Sioux City schools. Linda married Larry Kleve on November 23, 1963. Together they moved to New York where Larry was a carpet layer. While in New York, their two sons were born, Jeff and Robert. The family moved back to Dakota City when the boys were young. Both Linda and Larry worked at IBP/Tyson until retirement.

Linda enjoyed collecting Precious Moments and Mickey Mouse memorabilia. She also collected jewelry, ordering many items from the Home Shopping Network. Linda and Larry loved traveling, and took the family on vacations all over the country.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff (Tessa Shanks) Kleve and Robert (Ann) Kleve both of Sioux City; siblings, Larry (Teresa) Neal, Randy (Carol) Neal, Sherry Munhofen, Shelly Anderson, Leesa (Dave) Parker, Lori (Patrick) Conley, Ronald (Dawn) Neal, and Raymond (Crystal) Neal; grandchildren, Scott (Natalie) Kleve and Sarah Kleve; great grandchildren, Callamarie, Ayden, and Lilly Kleve.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and granddaughter, Jasmine.
