Lewis M. “Tiny” Wilson, 63 of Sioux City, died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at a local hospital.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Morningside Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. A visitation will be held from 4-8 with family present from 6-8 and a time of sharing at 7:00 pm, at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Lewis was born on December 5, 1952 in Sioux City, the son of Rudell and Leola (Spencer) Wilson. Lewis was married to Terrie McHenry, and they were later divorced. In September of 1994, he was married to Martha Stoltze.
Lewis worked on several farms in the area and also as a local truck driver. Lewis was retired but kept busy as a neighborhood fix-it-man. He loved to tinker on anything mechanical. Lewis was of the Lutheran faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking on the grill, and most of all, Lewis loved spending time with his grandkids. Lewis loved to make everyone and always had plenty of silly jokes.
Lewis is survived by his wife Martha; one son, Michael (Tina) Wilson of Anthon; three daughters, Leola Mahaney of Sioux City, Tanya (Warrren) Wren of Carroll and Doreen (Jason) Moore of Sioux City; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild; and two sisters, Sally (DeWayne) Stowe of Sioux City and Diana Wilson also of Sioux City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Robbie Wilson and one sister, Barbara Wilson.
