Levi W. Eisley, 80, of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Touchstone Living Center. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service.
Levi was born on December 25, 1933, in Newcastle, Nebraska, the son of Wilson and Florence (Nordich) Eisley. He attended public school in Newcastle, and moved to Sioux City at the age of 18. Levi married Rosalie Coburn on September 12, 1972 in Elk Point, SD. He worked for Mayhew Truck Garden as a foreman for over 30 years, he also was a courier for the Sioux City Journal, and his last job was as a crossing guard for Sioux City Community Schools. Levi enjoyed driving, cookouts, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter Debra Bundy and her husband Michael, grandchildren Desiree, Brandon, and Emily Bundy, all of Sioux City, nephews Wilson and Luann Eisley of Sergeant Bluff, and James Eisley of Sioux City, and niece Judy Eisley of Sergeant Bluff.
Levi was preceded in death by his parents, wife, infant daughter Ella Marie, and 11 siblings.
