Leslie Anne Sherman, 65, of Ponca Nebraska, was called home on June 6 of 2023.  A private intimate celebration of life will be held.  Condolences may be sent to 1008 Quincy Rd Ponca, NE 68770.

Leslie was born September 14th of 1957 in Norfolk Nebraska to Virgil and Fay Sherman. She graduated from Chadron High School in May of 1977 and graduated from Spencer School of business in May of 1987.

During Leslie’s life she lived in Spencer Iowa, Phoenix Arizona, Ogallala Nebraska, and Ponca Nebraska as she remained close with family. Leslie loved and cherished her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her daughter who remained by her side.  As Leslie aged she developed dementia.  Despite her setbacks Leslie’s grandchildren would always put a smile on her face.

Leslie is survived by her brother Ronald Picklap and wife Kathy; brother Kelly Picklap and wife Lisa; brother Michael Picklap; sister Jeri Green and husband Harold, son Tristan Sherman; daughter Lindsey Fix, husband Nicholas and grandchildren Kyndall, Brody, and Finley Fix.

Leslie is preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Fay Sherman and her sister Shirley Hicks.
